Rocky Mountain High

You may have noticed we’ve been high on Rocky Mountain Bicycles  lately.  With so many amazing brands in our store, we want to share our brand love equally and certainly not show any favorites because we just don’t have one.  So why all the RM love lately?  Well, a lot of you know how amazing the Ibis Ripmo rides and that Richie Rude suddenly became fast last season when he started riding his Yeti SB150.  And of course Trek makes fantastic bikes and Seven Cycles has made more titanium bikes than any other domestic manufacturer.  The little known secret on the east coast is that Rocky bikes not only measure up to our other boutique brands, but carry a name that has been a solid staple in the MTB world for more than 20 years.  If it’s any indication of how long, they own the bikes.com domain.  Truth is that they ride really amazingly, are priced very well, and offer a wide variety of dirt only bikes which include some phenomenal kids bikes too.  Other than Trek, none of our other brands offer the full spectrum of bikes for all ages and most budgets.  For this reason, it’s easy to get behind a brand that a customer can demo and love and not second guess our choice in brands.  So much so, we’ve converted our stock bikes to demos to once again, put our money where our mouth is.  Don’t believe the hype, demo one first.  No Kool-Aid here baby.
