The program is designed to build stamina and confidence on the bike by teaching specific skills that can be transferred to the road. The class is similar to a spin class but you are on your own bike and it is attached to a bicycle trainer which suspends your back wheel off of the ground allowing you to ride freely but stay stationary. The best part about trainer sessions is that no one gets dropped, so a variety of ability levels can benefit from the sessions.
Each One Hour Session will Include:
- Understanding cadence
- Use of heart rate/power to assist with training methods
- Interval work
- Mastering the proper climbing position
- Proper gear selection
- How to benefit from proper hydration and nutrition
- And most of all lots of FUN!
An optional 30-minute bike clinic will be offered at the end of each session.
